NPPA fixes retail prices of 84 drug formulations
Drug pricing regulator NPPA has fixed the retail prices for 84 drug formulations, including those used for treatment of diabetes, headache and high blood pressure. The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has also fixed the prices of formulations indicated to reduce increased cholesterol and triglycerides levels, among others. In exercise of the powers conferred by the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013, the NPPA has fixed the retail prices of the medications, the regulator said in a notification.

Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday dissolved the national, state and district executive bodies of all its organisations, including the youth and the women’s wing, with immediate effect. Rahul Narvekar is a sitting BJP MLA from Mumbai’s Colaba constituency. He is the son-in-law of senior NCP leader Ramraje Naik-Nimbalkar. He was a spokesperson of the Youth Wing of Shiv Sena in its early years. He quit the party and joined NCP in 2014. Rahul Narvekar contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Maval, losing to Shrirang Appa Barne of the Shiv Sena. He then joined the BJP in 2019.

Tesla EV deliveries fall 18% due to China lockdowns, supply woes
Elon Musk-run Tesla has been hit by about 18 per cent drop in EV deliveries in the second quarter (Q2) this year amid supply chain woes and China lockdowns. Tesla delivered 2,54,695 electric vehicles globally in the April-June period, 18 per cent decrease from Q1. This is the first time in two years that Tesla deliveries, which were 3,10,048 in the first period this year, have fallen quarter over quarter. The Friday night ruling stopped a three-day-old order by a Houston judge who said clinics could resume abortions up to six weeks into pregnancy. Sri Lanka to get three ships carrying fuel, two in July
Sri Lanka will receive three ships containing petrol and diesel this month and another in August, the Chairman of Lanka IOC, the subsidiary of Indian Oil Corporation, said on Saturday as it will give relief to the people facing fuel shortages. One ship is expected to arrive between July 13 and 15 and another ship is scheduled to reach between July 29 and 31. And the last one will reach the island nation between August 10 and 15, Daily Mirror Online reported.
